A Blue Badge Guide and Driver Guide for the British Isles and Western Europe

I am a former British Army officer and now a qualified London Tourist Board registered Blue Badge guide. I am also a fully insured Driver Guide. My personal services and experience cover the whole British Isles, including my own home country of Ireland, as well as France, Spain, Germany and the Low Countries. While I am fully competent in all aspects of general guiding I have special interests in and unique contacts in Battlefield touring from Caesar's Gallic Wars to the "Cold War" in Europe. I also offer tours to French and Spanish vineyards as well as to Britain's stately homes and beautiful gardens.

In addition to acting as a guide and escort for small family sized parties I have much experience throughout Britain and Europe as a Tour Manager and guide for larger coach borne parties. I am a member of the International Association of Tour Managers (IATM). This experience with larger parties has led to the formation, with other expert associates, of a specialist group travel management company:- Liberty Road Ltd whose website is: www.libertyroad.com.

On leaving the British Army I attended and qualified as a Blue Badge Guide. Since completing the course in 1985 I have gained much valuable and enjoyable experience with small and large groups. I am happy to say that much of my business is of a repeat and referred nature with many coming back year after year to explore new areas and interests. My main source of business is generated through a wide range of agencies for individual travellers in the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand though I have clients from many other countries as well. I have recently become a member of The Guild of Battlefield Guides.

I am also able to offer full advisory and management services both for all aspects of incoming tourism and for Corporate Event and Venue location.

My main message to you is simple:- Don't hesitate to call me if there is any aspect of Euro or UK travel and tourism on which you may need help or just advice. Many already do and it works well.
